This short post is for those few who may not have heard about Skype. Skype is an internet phone system that allows you to make free phone calls to anyone else who has Skype and is online at the same time as you are. You can also make cheap , really cheap calls to anyone's land line through it. When I say cheap I really mean cheap. We are all familiar with how phone companies pester us with offers of cheap rates and for the most part are left totally confused by the various offers. You would need to be a mathamathician to actually work these offers out but this is not the case with Skype.

http://www.skype.com/intl/en/helloagain.html. You can pick up a hand set for as little as 15 euros and it is just a matter of downloading Skype and plugging your handset into your computer. No matter how light your phone use is it will pay for itself usually within a week or two. It is such a cheap form of comunication that it makes no sense not to have it.
So if your not signed up then do so soon and save a small , or not so small fortune.
