Dublin Sculpture

We have a new sort of transient sculpture in Dublin. The above
photo was taken in Grafton Street. They keep getting changed or
they go for walks but either way they keep changing. They are all
over the city and are cartoon like animals.
And they cost a FORTUNE.
I don't think I really like them but I do like the idea of not being
sure from day to day exactly what will be there.
I have been trying for several days now to get a photograph
of this but there are usually gangs of kiddies crawling all over them.

Like you said, it keeps it interesting! How long do they plan to keep changing them around -- is a permanent scultpture piece?

They change about every four or five months but they are 'regular' sculptures and appear to be bronze.some of them are quite ugly and I think it is a deliberate policy not to announce when they will be changed and who they are by.
