The War of the Dandelions

The first shot has been fired and there will be blood on
the streets yet. Irish horticulturists are angry. Or at least
one of them is. And he of course is a blogger.
This angry young (?) man would have us belive that
Public Gardens and Parks in Dublin are in a bad way....
but exactley how or why he doesn't say.
But he does get specific at times. We are told for instance,
that the herbacious borders in the beautifull Herbert Park
in Dublin's finest suburb are out of controll. And he does not
shy away from saying who is to blame.

It's Dominic Madden's fault.

He it seems is the head gardener. It's all down to him.

And it's not just head gardeners he has a go at but in one
of his posts about the river Liffey he launches into the Irish
Dept. of the Environment.

Are there no weed pluckers out there to stop this impetous
rascal before he goes any further. If not apprehended may
he not take to going into these same parks some night and,
as he would see it , righting the wrongs. This is a man on a
mission so God know's what he might do.

Gardeners and Horticulturists of Ireland do not remain silent.

Sounds like the bloke has been smoking an illegal weed. He should go and visit the parks in Lebanon. Then he might feel proud of Irish parks!

I pity the head gardener - he or she might be better off finding an alternative source of employment!
